Google launched Gmail Mobile. You can access your Gmail account from the web browser on your mobile phone. Looks good on Treo 650 and on the Nokia Communicator 9300. I still prefer to use POP3 with the mail client for my private Gmail account. For corporate email we use solutions from iAnywhere or RIM´s Blackberry server. But the idea of accessing mail from any device via the browser without installing and maintaining an additional client, without thinking of local content security and without recoding the client for every new device out there in the market is worth thinking off for corporate email, too. Reminds me of our joint venture with the guys from SevenVal:
